Guinea Pigs - Do You Know Which Toys You Can Give To Guinea Pigs?
An extremely common query is "What type of toys do las cobayas like to play with?" Most piggies like different kinds of toys, but many successful concepts have been:
1) A balled up bit of blank computer paper.
2) Empty toilet paper rolls or paper towel pipes. Several pigs love to gnaw on these, carry them around the cage, etc.
3) Same as number 2, but with a slit up the side and full of hay.
4) Chicken toys. Many similar to them to hang from their cases in different places. Other cobayas choose them laying on the floor of the cage so they can pick them up and also move them all about.
5) Table Tennis balls, tennis balls, ferret balls. A lot of piggies like nudging these around their cases.
6) Ferret hammocks and ferret sleeping bags. You can buy these pet shop that offers ferret supplies, or maybe you can make your own.
7) Stuffed animals.
Empty old socks. Many cavies love to drag one around the cage with them.
9) Big Chubes are great for them to run through and bite.
10) Hidey Homes are great to run through and climb upon.
11) Pieces of PVC tube for them to climb through, cover in, etc.
12) Large piles of hay to cover, sleep in, and of course EAT!
13) Cinder blocks make fantastic hiding areas and maintain them cooler in the summer.
14) The largest size plastic Igloo sold by pet stores.
15) Huge "Fiddle Sticks" sold by pet stores make good hiding spots.
16) Empty brown paper bags make good hiding places in addition to something fun to chew on.
17) Cuddle Cups can be found at most pet stores and make good "beds" for las cobayas.
18) Mirrors. Several guinea pigs like to take a look at their own reflections.
